Scale Model of Super Heavy Duty Single Rail System
In 2006, 1:10 scale model of super heavy duty single rail STU system was exposed to comprehensive testing.
Under conditions of strong side winds, the UniBus demonstrated its stability, safety and reliability. The reason for the larger sideways swinging movement is that the effect of the 1:10 scale and lower mass of the model equated to winds speeds of 10 times that experienced.
The tests verified computer modeling and further demonstrated that the STU system is ready to be used to transport passengers and freight across the city or across the country.
